Dog Park Rules   Users of the dog park do so at their own risk   Dog owners are legally responsible for injury and/or damage caused by their dog (ORC. 1533.181) Dogs showing aggression must be removed immediately     Dogs must display current license, rabies tags, & vaccinations. Parent/legal guardians assume all risk for their children. It is recommended that children under 12 years stay outside the fence. Owner/handler must be in park with leash in hand. Dog waste must be picked up immediately by their handler. Dogs must be leashed when entering & leaving park. Unleash dog in double gate area. It is recommended that handlers be 16 years or older.                 NO puppies under 4 months old allowed            NO dogs in heat            NO more than 2 dogs per handler            NO prong, pinch, spiked, or choke collars            NO retractable leashed            NO smoking            NO food of any kind, including dog treats            NO glass container or alcohol            NO lawn/folding chairs   Following these rules is very important to the safety of your dog & the success of your dog park. All Marion City Park rules apply and must be observed.
